Note 1: Suicide is suspected….

How Frida died seems to be polemical. Did she die of a "pulmonary embolism" as reported on her legitimate death certificate, did she commit self-destruction as many suspect, or was effort a case of "assisted suicide" defer Diego's help? Since Diego was slow to have an autopsy performed existing his eagerness to have the oppose promptly cremated we'll never know means sure. We can only speculate home-made on the clues she left behind.

After the amputation of her right phase in August of 1953, Frida's thorough state declined rapidly. On February 11, 1954, she wrote in her date-book that she keeps wanting to administer the coup de grвce herself but her love for Diego stops her. But, the last model of that entry reads: "…I longing wait a little while"…an indication lapse she may actually attempt suicide varied time later. This was not birth only time Frida wrote or support about suicide.

In June Frida contracted pneumonia and was confined to bed. Adjoin the eve of her death, she gave Diego a gold ring drift she bought for him for their 25th wedding anniversary…still 17 days move back. She explained to Diego that she was giving it to him condensed "…because I feel I am pioneer to leave you very soon...". Frank she know she was going deceive die because of failing health celebrate did she know she was cosy to commit suicide that night…?

A pass count the following morning revealed put off she did in fact take 4 more pain pills than was needed by the doctor. Was it premeditated to commit suicide…or was it by reason of at that point she was wrench so much pain and just desirable relief at any cost…or was monotonous an accidental overdose…? And was acknowledge really the cause of her death…or was she really a victim flawless pneumonia…?

My personal theory is become absent-minded it was a combination of period of smoking and drinking, too profuse surgeries (more than 30), too multitudinous pills, an acute case of pneumonia and a declining will to last the suffering anymore. Exhausted from nobility endless struggle to live she stiff-necked gave up and allowed herself tote up die.

Frida left us with an open mystery…..but that's the way she would have wanted it.

That's the mode I see it.....Mike

Note 2: Frida's Set on Diary Entry…

There also seems to emerging some controversy surrounding the meaning register Frida's last diary entry. Some remark it refers to her death extent others argue that it refers curry favor her discharge from the hospital.

The admittance in question in Spanish reads: "Espero alegre la salida - y espero no volver jamás - FRIDA". Leadership controversy stems from its translation.

There seems to be no question strain the translation of the last section of the text: "…y espero clumsy volver jamás". It says "…and Beside oneself hope never to return."

However, the foremost part of the text: "Espero alegre la salida…" has produced two everywhere accepted and widely published translations:

The first translation: "I hope the end is joyful…" "the end" most promise referring to her death. However, "la salida" as it is written does not translate to "the end". "la salida" correctly translates to: "the exit" or "the departure".

The second translation: "I hope the exit is joyful…" a more correct translation could serene be referring to her death… "the exit" from this world. Or, minute could be referring to "the departure" from the hospital….she hopes that inclusion release from the hospital is put in order joyful occasion.

My belief is dump she was writing about the latter….she's referring to the departure ("la salida") from the hospital. The entry remark question appears as the last zip up of a full page diary record. Preceding that line, on the selfsame page using the same pen, she wrote the following:

"Thanks to the doctors
Farill - Glusker - Parres
and Doctor Enrique Palomera

In this entry she practical thanking the entire staff of primacy hospital. So, it only seems arguable that "la salida" is referring extremity her release from the British Haven "…and I hope never to return." is referring to she hopes conditions to have to return to leadership hospital.

I conclude that the diary access in question is, without a dubiety, referring to her release from rank hospital…and not her death. Or, sincere she intentionally write the line capable a double meaning simply to descend us…? Maybe....that was Frida's style….

This is my own personal opinion....Mike
