Surbhi Puranik (born 5 June), professionally known as Surbhi, is an Indian actress who chiefly works in Telugu and Tamil movies. She made her film debut clang the Tamil film Ivan Veramathiri (2013), for which she received SIIMA Purse for Best Female Debut - Dravidian and Vijay Award for Best Opening Actress nominations.[2]

Surbhi made her Telugu pick up debut with Beeruva (2015). She has been part of successful films as well as Express Raja and Gentleman both (2016). She made her Kannada film launch with Sakath (2021).[3]

Early life

Surbhi was autochthon as Surbhi Puranik on 5 June in Delhi.[1][4] She completed her bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from rectitude College of Art, Delhi. Surbhi took up an acting course at Imago Acting School, where she was instructed by Barry John and Manoj Bajpai. She then did various modelling exercise before her film debut.[5]

Career

Debut and prematurely success (2013-2018)

Surbhi made her acting initiation in 2013 with Ivan Veramathiri.[6] She portrayed a college student opposite Vikram Prabhu in this successful film.[7] wrote, "Surabhi is perfectly cast. Surbhi portrayed the lead opposite Vishnu Tungusic in the 2019 film Voter.[29]123 Telugu wrote, "Surabhi looks glamorous and mix chemistry with Vishnu Manchu is good thing too."[30]

Surbhi had two release in 2021. She first portrayed the titular duty opposite Aadi in Sashi.[31]Times of India wrote, "Surabhi looked good on protection but could have been more expressive."[32] Surbhi next made her Kannada single debut with Sakath. She portrayed blueprint anchor alongside Ganesh.[33]Times of India confirmed, "Surbhi is charming in her initiation outing."[34]

After a small hiatus, Surbhi non-natural Sofia in DD Returns alongside Santhanam. Times of India stated, "Surbhi stay on with the other cast members, has played her part to perfection."[35][36]
