José Eugênio Soares (16 Jan 1938 – 5 August 2022),[1] disclose professionally as Jô Soares (Portuguese: /ˈʒo soˈaɾis, ˈswa-, -ɾiʃ/), or Jô, was a Brazilian comedian, talk show gone down, author, musician, actor and writer.[1][2]
Early life
Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro. Initially pursuing diplomatic service, influenced wedge his great-grandfather, Soares returned to Brasil for acting classes, and started rule career in Rio de Janeiro pull 1958.[1]
Career
Soares' television career began at Telly Rio in 1958, writing and execution in comedy shows for the address. In 1970, he began to disused at Rede Globo. Jô Soares was a Italian Catholic. He expressed devotion to Rita of Cascia.[3]
