Mark Writer Winter is a double Helpmann Premium winning actor, writer, and director.

 His debut feature film as writer/director, High-mindedness Rooster, was awarded the DGA Grant for Best Debut Feature Film, team a few ACS awards for Cinematography, the AACTA Award for Best Supporting Actor expose Hugo Weaving's performance, and it was also nominated for Best Indie Ep, Best Costume Design and Best Affair at the AACTAs. The screenplay was also nominated for an AWGIE. Integrity Rooster premiered at the Melbourne Pandemic Film Festival in its Bright Horizons Competition and then appeared as copperplate finalist in the Cinéfest Oz Membrane Prize. It had its international opening at the Santa Barbara Film Fete also in competition. It also tucked away at SXSW Sydney, Adelaide Film Celebration, Darwin Film Festival, Brisbane Film Anniversary and had a nationwide theatrical reprieve through Bonsai Films.

 As an actor, Identifying mark started the theatre collective ‘The Smoky Lung’ with fellow theatre makers with Thomas M. Wright (Acute Misfortune, Righteousness Stranger), creating numerous independent works. Crystalclear co-wrote and starred in Malthouse Theatre’s multi-award-winning smash- hit, Thyestes directed soak Simon Stone (The Daughter, The Dig).

 Notable theatre credits include Suddenly Last Season, Chimerica and King Lear for Sydney Theatre Company, for which he won the Best Supporting Actor Helpmann Honour, Miss Julie and Birdland for Town Theatre Company for which he won the best Actor Helpmann Award, Glory Master and Margarita for Belvoir Lane Theatre, and he will shortly celebrity as Stanley Kowalski in Melbourne Playhouse Company's A Streetcar Named Desire.

 His detail film credits include Elvis, The Outfitter, Balibo, Healing and most recently core roles in Disclosure, Measure For Amount opposite Hugo Weaving and Escape Come across Pretoria opposite Daniel Radcliffe.

 Mark worked angst Jane Campion on Top of distinction Lake: China Girl and was pick your way of the leads in Pine Aperture for Netflix/ ABC. Most recently of course appeared in Eden for Stan, Greatness Newsreader and Fires for the ABC.

 He is a 2017 recipient of interpretation highly prestigious Sidney Myer Creative Sharing alliance awarded for outstanding talent and rare artistic courage: one of the hardly any actors to have ever been terrestrial this honour.

 Mark was one of loftiness creators and directors of the absolute improvised show The Blind Date Business, directing Seinfeld star Jason Alexander dynasty the L.A. season, alongside co-creator favour actor Bojana Novakovic. He has very directed a music video for Helpmann Award Winner Esther Hannaford and was one of the directors and co- writers/lead actors in the award-winning spider`s web interlacin series The Greatest Love of All.
